AEO SECURITY MEASURES
By voluntarily submitting personal information to AEO, you agree that AEO may use that information to maintain contact with you, solicit contributions from you and provide you with information about AEO and its programs and initiatives. When you donate to AEO online, your credit card information is secured by an independent security company. Also, your credit card number is used only for that particular transaction and is not stored. You will see the "closed" lock symbol in the lower part of your browser screen (often times it is yellow as well) when you are on our secure donation pages. You will also notice in your web site(s) address bar that the domain name starts with an "https" on those donation pages. This means that information entered on those pages is encrypted for your security. This actually makes it more secure than using a credit card in physical form at a store for example. We will never share your personal data with third-parties that intend to use it for their own purposes like direct marketing. Please be aware that despite our best efforts, no data security measures can guarantee 100% security.

REASONS WHY WE SHOULD HAVE YOUR DATA
If we don’t have your personal data, we can’t work with it. Providing us with your personal data for the purpose of our agreed requirement, as such you are morally asked to  provide the information needed. We also may disclose the information we collect from you in order to comply with the law, a judicial proceeding, court order, or other legal process, such as in response to a court order or a subpoena. We also may disclose the information we collect from you where we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person, violations of our Terms of Use or this Policy, or as evidence in litigation in which we are involved. We may share aggregate or de-identified information about users with third parties for marketing, advertising, research, or similar purposes.
